About me
Hey, I am Adithiyan. This is my little corner of the internet where I document what I am building, thinking about, and occasionally ranting about in the world of AI.
CS grad student at uOttawa (on a pretty good GPA streak, not that I am counting) currently interning at Ericsson where I build LLM tools for engineering teams. Before that I was at the Vector Institute working on recommendation systems and at Databrackets shipping RAG pipelines for security teams.
I care a lot about AI that actually works in production. Not just demos. The gap between impressive prototype and thing engineers trust every day is where I like to operate.
Outside work I volunteer with the Ottawa Youth Council, used to be VP Education at Toastmasters, and somehow ended up with a published paper in an Elsevier journal on ML for genetic risk prediction. The most niche thing on my CV by a wide margin.

Published ML pipeline (Elsevier, 2025) for Mendelian genetic-disorder recurrence risk prediction using clinical history + pedigree features; tuned Gradient Boosting with SMOTE/bootstrap CV to prioritize sensitivity (99% CV accuracy).
Passive Aggressive classifier on tweet corpus to flag misinformation; packaged preprocessing + inference for real-time classification with 90%+ accuracy.
Mobile-first COVID-19 first-aid helper with symptom lookup and nearby resources; built with Flutter/Dart and open data sources.
